She’s usually so calm, so patient, so polite and caring.
So when she gets curt and irritable, it’s actually scary.
Why can we not be in the same city for once?! Just across the state line yet still so far away.
ARGH.
Don’t be so silly. I recall an entire week of nothing but bliss. I’m holding on that memory. You should too.

How did you meet the love of your life?
By the grace of Allah.
We were both volunteering with the same organization. We talked a bit here and there but nothing much came of it. Until February 3rd, 2007, the day that I bought her coffee (which she promptly spilled on her white sweater white crochet bag). A day I’ll never forget, and a person who will remain with me until well after I’ve died.
